RALEIGH, NC, MAY 19, 2026 – Coleman Insights, along with study partners Pantheon Media, Nova Podcasts, and Earbuds Podcast Collective, will present new research on podcast trailers at The Podcast Show on the Talking Podcasts 1 stage at London’s Islington Design Centre on Thursday, May 21, at 1 p.m. local time. The study examines what listeners remember from podcast trailers, which creative elements capture attention, and how those moments affect listening intent.
The study A/B-tests trailer versions from two Pantheon Media shows, “Superfan Diaries” and “Binge or Cringe,” and two Nova Podcasts shows, “High Scrollers” and “Better Than Yesterday,” with 500 podcast listeners in the United States.
“There are clear lessons that emerge from this research, including one very surprising takeaway,” said Coleman Insights Vice President and Consultant Jay Nachlis. “We’re thrilled to share our findings and discuss how podcasters can apply these strategies to their own trailers.”
Nachlis will be joined on the panel by Arielle Nissenblatt, founder of Earbuds Podcast Collective and head of community and content at Pinwheel by Audily; Peter Ferioli, COO of Pantheon Media; and Rachel Corbett, network director of Nova Podcasts.
A webinar discussing the findings in more detail will be held on Wednesday, June 3, at 1 p.m. ET / 10 a.m. PT. Registration is open here. A webinar to discuss the findings in more detail will be held on Wednesday, June 3rd at 1PM ET/10AM PT. Registration is open here.
